Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB (a natural person concluding a contract for purposes predominantly outside your trade, business, or profession), you have the following right of withdrawal:

Withdrawal Right

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire 14 days after the day of the conclusion of the contract.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

Important Notes

When the Withdrawal Right Does Not Apply

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts concluded by entrepreneurs (§ 14 BGB) acting in the exercise of their trade, business, or profession. If you are subscribing to Eigentum² for commercial purposes, these withdrawal provisions do not apply to you.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the free tier, as no payment is involved.

Subscription-Specific Information

  • Monthly subscriptions: The withdrawal period of 14 days begins on the day the subscription contract is concluded (i.e., when you complete the checkout process and we confirm your subscription).
  • Annual subscriptions: The same 14-day withdrawal period applies from the day of contract conclusion.
  • Subscription upgrades and tier changes: Each upgrade or tier change constitutes a new contract. A new 14-day withdrawal period begins from the date of the upgrade.
  • Adding seats or add-ons: If you add seats or additional features to your subscription, a new 14-day withdrawal period applies to the additional services from the date they are activated.

Pro-Rata Payment for Services Already Rendered

If you exercise your right of withdrawal after having used the platform during the withdrawal period, you are required to pay a proportionate amount for the services already rendered. This amount is calculated based on the number of days you used the service relative to the total billing period.

Example: If you subscribe to a monthly plan at €39.00 and withdraw after 5 days, the proportionate amount is: 5/30 × €39.00 = €6.50. You would receive a refund of €32.50.
